Polydentia introduces the Unica Master Kit, everything you need for anterior restorations
Published on
The Unica Anterior Molds and Unica Proximal, developed in collaboration with StyleItaliano, have revolutionized the way anterior restorations are performed.
As prime examples of the StyleItaliano slogan “doable, teachable, and repeatable,” the Unica dies were an immediate success on the market thanks to their ease of use and performance results.
The new Unica Master Kit offers a selection of essential components for complete control over anterior restorations and complements the Unica Introkit line of anterior restoration systems. The kit includes the Unica, Unica Minideep, Unica Proximal, and Unica Proximal Deep versions, as well as a selection of myWedges that can be used as needed.
The selection of Essentials makes it possible to cover a wide range of indications: from the direct layering of composite veneers (partial and full) &; reshaping (i.e., closing diastemas &.
A novelty within a novelty: The products come in a new luxury box from the Polydentia brand, complete with reusable trays designed to hold the units so they’re always within reach. The box and trays are sized to fit securely in cabinet drawers and are made of recyclable and washable materials.

Learn more about the products:
Unica Anterior is the simple and ideal system for anterior restorations such as Class III, IV, and V restorations, direct layering, composite veneers, and reshaping.
Thanks to their contoured shape, its matrix solutions—Unica anterior and Unica minideep anterior—conform precisely to the various morphologies of all anterior teeth.
They allow the dentist to restore the proximal and cervical margins simultaneously, even when gingival retraction cords or a rubber dam are in place, which significantly reduces treatment time.
In addition, Unica anterior makes it easy to visualize the final shape of the restoration after placement, even before the procedure begins.
Unica Proximal matrices are designed to conform to the contour of the anterior teeth labially, palatally, and proximally.
Unica Proximal matrices are particularly suitable for anterior restorations in the approximal area (Class III and IV, pin-shaped lateral incisors, diastema closures, partial and full veneers).
The easy-to-place cervical labiopalatine arch is designed to secure the matrix subgingivally between the papilla and the tooth to improve the matrix's stability after placement. A wedge can be used to secure the matrix, but it is not strictly necessary.
The die was designed to fit the anterior teeth perfectly and to provide better visibility and access to the surgical site than other solutions, such as dies used in the posterior region.
Unica and Unica Mini-Deep matrices can prove very useful in challenging cases where the cervical and proximal areas need to be restored (full veneering).
Unica Proximal is the ideal matrix for restoring only the interproximal margins without involving the cervical area when unobstructed access and a clear view are essential for a successful procedure, even when working mesially and distally at the same time.
Unica matrices can be used with or without a plastic wedge. myWedge is an interproximal wedge made of modern plastic. Its innovative hollow V-shape allows it to compress and adapt to the interproximal anatomy of the teeth. It prevents damage to the papilla while conforming and shaping the matrix band to the anatomy of the tooth’s cervical region, making it ideal for the anterior region as well. myWedge’s unique round-head geometry is designed for easy handling, placement, and removal of the wedge using any standard forceps or pliers.
With the introduction of the Unica Master Kit, clinicians can now choose from an expanded range of matrices to address all anterior restoration scenarios.
The product will be available through the Polydentia dealer network starting in June 2025.
