Digitized Ordering Processes Between Retailers and Manufacturers
The central hub now requires only one connection from each manufacturer and each retailer.
Unlike a traditional EDI connection, which requires a mandatory 1:1 connection, the central Order-Process Hub requires only a single connection. A retailer with established connections to the hub can then access all connected manufacturers.
The hub handles the "conversion" into the manufacturer's preferred data format so that the manufacturer can process it. Delivery slips, invoices, and other documents from the manufacturer are also sent back to the retailer digitally, so they appear directly in the retailer's ERP system. This works internationally as well as for smaller retailers without an ERP system.
