Designed for dental labs and milling centers with the highest standards, the machine sets new benchmarks in precision, productivity, and versatility. It combines state-of-the-art drive technology, a stable natural granite base, and fully automated processes—engineered for continuous 24/7 operation.
Maximum flexibility for all dental materials and applications
The CORiTEC 650i PRO series is designed for maximum versatility. It processes the full range of dental CAD/CAM materials—including zirconia, titanium, cobalt-chromium, and plastics such as PMMA, PEEK, and wax. Even particularly hard materials can be machined precisely and reliably thanks to the water-cooled high-frequency spindle with 5.7 kW of power and up to 50,000 revolutions per minute.
The system thus covers all common applications in digital dental technology—from crowns and bridges to implant bars and abutments, and even complex telescopic restorations.
A special advantage: The integrated hybrid machining enables precise post-processing of additively manufactured metal parts (from 3D printing). This provides laboratories and milling centers with additional flexibility and opportunities—and gives them a clear competitive edge.
Sturdy construction for maximum precision
The base of the CORiTEC 650i PRO series is made of solid natural granite—a material known for its excellent stability and vibration damping. This machine design, combined with linear and torque motor-driven machining axes featuring high-precision, absolute measuring systems (with a resolution of 0.05 μm / 26-bit), ensures exceptionally smooth operation and consistently precise machining results.
Even during continuous 24/7 operation, accuracy remains consistent—a key advantage for laboratories with high-quality standards and continuous production.
Technological Highlights for the Most Demanding Standards
The CORiTEC 650i PRO Series combines state-of-the-art drive technology, intelligent control, and long-term precision in a well-designed system.
The machining axes are driven by linear and torque motors and are equipped with high-resolution, absolute measurement systems (0.05 μm / 26-bit). They enable precise positioning—even with complex geometries and high machining speeds.
At the heart of the machining process is the water-cooled 5.7 kW high-frequency spindle. With speeds of up to 50,000 rpm and a 4-point hybrid ball bearing system, it provides the stability and durability required for even the most demanding materials.
The integrated EROWA zero-point clamping system, with a clamping force of 5,000 N and a repeatability of less than 5 μm, ensures maximum process reliability. Automatic temperature compensation reliably compensates for thermal effects—ensuring consistently precise results, even over long production cycles.
Automated tool-changing systems—a 16-position blank changer (loader version) and a 32-position HSK tool changer—enable uninterrupted production. Particularly efficient: Thanks to the new turning and milling process, it takes only up to 4 minutes to produce an abutment in high-speed mode.
The system is rounded out by the new, open, industrial CNC control system “iNC.” It allows for flexible integration into custom workflows and provides full control over all machining processes.
