imes-icore presents the CORiTEC 650i PRO Series: When perfection is a must…

Eiterfeld, November 2025 // imes-icore introduces the new CORiTEC 650i PRO series, a high-end system for dental manufacturing. Designed for dental labs and milling centers with the highest standards, the machine sets new benchmarks in precision, productivity, and versatility. It combines state-of-the-art drive technology, a stable natural granite base, and fully automated processes—designed for continuous 24/7 operation. Maximum flexibility for all dental materials and applications The CORiTEC 650i PRO series is designed for maximum versatility. It processes the full spectrum of dental CAD/CAM materials—including zirconia, titanium, cobalt-chromium, and plastics such as PMMA, PEEK, or wax. Even particularly hard materials can be machined precisely and reliably thanks to the water-cooled high-frequency spindle with 5.7 kW of power and up to 50,000 revolutions per minute. The system thus covers all common indications in digital dental technology—from crowns and bridges to implant bars and abutments, all the way to complex telescopic restorations. A particular advantage: The integrated hybrid machining enables the precise post-processing of additively manufactured metal parts (from 3D printing). This provides laboratories and milling centers with additional flexibility and possibilities—and gives them clear competitive advantages. Stable Construction for Maximum Precision The base of the CORiTEC 650i PRO series is made of solid natural granite—a material known for its excellent stability and vibration damping. This machine structure, combined with linear and torque motor-driven machining axes featuring high-precision, absolute measuring systems (with a resolution of 0.05 μm / 26-bit), ensures exceptionally smooth operation and consistently precise machining results.Even during continuous 24/7 operation, accuracy remains constant—a decisive advantage for laboratories with high-quality requirements and continuous production. Technological Highlights for the Highest StandardsThe CORiTEC 650i PRO series combines state-of-the-art drive technology, intelligent control, and long-term precision in a well-designed system. The machining axes are driven by linear and torque motors and are equipped with high-resolution, absolute measurement systems (0.05 μm / 26-bit). They enable precise positioning—even with complex geometries and high machining speeds. At the heart of the machining process is the water-cooled 5.7 kW high-frequency spindle. With speeds of up to 50,000 rpm and a 4-point hybrid ball bearing system, it offers the stability and durability required for the most demanding materials. The integrated EROWA zero-point clamping system, with a clamping force of 5,000 N and a repeatability of less than 5 μm, ensures maximum process reliability. Automatic temperature compensation reliably counteracts thermal effects—delivering consistently precise results, even over long production cycles.Automated tool changers—a 16-position blank changer (loader version) and a 32-position HSK tool changer—enable uninterrupted production. Particularly efficient: Thanks to the new turning and milling process, a single abutment takes only up to 4 minutes to produce in high-speed mode. The system is rounded out by the new, open, industrial CNC control system “iNC.” It allows for flexible integration into individual workflows and offers full control over all machining processes. A Secure Investment in the Future: The sturdy natural granite foundation forms the basis for the precision that the CORiTEC 650i PRO series is known for. Complemented by proven control technology, it guarantees the highest machining quality—with excellent surface finishes and maximum repeatability. The integrated tool-changing systems enable fully automated production in 24/7 operation—ideal for milling centers with high utilization rates. In addition, the machine offers advanced hybrid machining: 3D-printed metal parts can be precisely post-processed and finished in a seamless digital workflow. Thanks to its open system architecture, the CORiTEC 650i PRO series can be optimally adapted to customer-specific requirements. This makes it not only a high-performance production system for today’s needs—but also an investment with a promising future. IDS 2025 IN REVIEW: HIGHLIGHTS AND INNOVATIONS FROM imes-icore

With the world premiere of the CORiTEC Mythos and the launch of the new Design Nesting CAM (DNC) service, imes-icore showcased itself at IDS 2025 as a driving force for innovation in digital dental manufacturing. The booth attracted significant international interest throughout the event and was specifically visited by numerous trade visitors seeking information and opportunities for discussion. IDS 2025 in Cologne attracted significantly more industry professionals than in 2023, with approximately 135,000 visitors from 156 countries. The imes-icore booth was also heavily frequented on all days of the trade show—featuring numerous product demonstrations, scheduled meetings, and international interest in the solutions on display. “The demand and the quality of the discussions at our booth demonstrated just how strong the current need for innovative, automated manufacturing solutions is,” says CEO Christoph Stark. The focus was on the CORiTEC Mythos—the world’s first CAD/CAM system to fully and automatically combine additive and subtractive processes. It eliminates manual steps and, for the first time, enables a fully integrated production process in dental technology. The new DNC Service also drew attention. The cloud-based solution allows dental practices to carry out simple, software-free in-house production: After uploading the digital impression data to the cloud, design, nesting, and data transfer occur automatically—without the need for any CAD/CAM expertise. Both innovations were presented to the public for the first time at the IDS press conference. Discover the highlights and get further insights on our YouTube channel. “IDS 2025 was a strategic milestone,” says CEO Christoph Stark. “With the CORiTEC Mythos, we’re introducing a new generation of systems to dental technology—fully automated, hybrid, and in high demand internationally.” The established systems from imes-icore’s extensive machine portfolio also generated significant interest. In particular, the new models in the CORiTEC 250i PRO+ and 350i X PRO series impressed with their performance and versatility in both laboratory and clinical settings. The consistently high visitor turnout, international attention, and intensive professional exchange reinforce imes-icore’s technological focus. IDS 2025 has once again underscored the company’s role as a driver of innovation in the dental industry.
