Since 1985, we have specialized in the development, manufacturing, and production of specialized materials and processes for dental technology. Embedding compounds, polyvinylsiloxanes, and cuvette systems quickly emerged as our primary areas of focus; later, we expanded to include, among other things, components for microscopes and lighting systems for laboratories and dental practices. Today, the company is primarily known for high-tech loupes and LED power spots for dentists as well as physicians in many specialties and applications. DCI is a partner and licensee of MERIDENT, the Finnish market leader in loupe glasses, as well as the Swedish lens manufacturer Optergo.
As one of the first dental companies, DCI recognized as early as 2002 the importance of optoelectronic lights (LEDs) for use in conjunction with magnifying vision aids, with the goal of developing a portable and cost-effective coaxial lighting system to improve illumination of the oral cavity. Our range of services includes optical measurements, adjustments, and training in ergonomic work practices.
