Precise fit and shape of the attachments are elementary for the success of an aligner therapy. AlignerFlow LC was developed specifically for the fabrication of aligner attachments on the basis of proven composites. It fluoresces under UV-A light and optimizes the attachment workflow from fabrication to removal. Thanks to the specially adjusted flowability of AlignerFlow LC, the aligner template can be filled precisely; under- and overfilling are avoided. This counteracts debonding and poor positioning of the attachments. The fluorescence, which only becomes visible under UV-A light, enables precise control of any excess or artifacts. At the end of treatment, even the slightest residue of AlignerFlow LC can be made visible. This enables the attachments to be removed quickly and easily, leaving the enamel untouched. AlignerFlow LC attachments are characterized by high stability and abrasion resistance, which is achieved by a filler content of 83% by weight.
