KG is a young company with a long history. It was founded in Hamburg on October 1, 1996, but can look back on over 100 years of dental tradition in the Stemmann family. Steco's first products were pea-sized mini magnets for use in and on humans. The idea of titanium magnetics came to master dental technician Hartmut Stemmann in the dental laboratory he founded in 1960. Today, they are still the main focus of the Steco portfolio, which has since been expanded to include other products for dental implantology.
