All MEGA-PHYSIK halogen and LED light-curing units are suitable for the polymerization of light-curing dental materials. The spectral range of the emitted light is between 400 and 500 nm for the halogen light-curing units and between 440 and 480 nm for the LED light-curing units. These values correspond to the long-wave absorption band of camphorquinone, which is generally used as a photoinitiator in dental filling resins.
