The dentists Dr. Jean Bausch and Dr. Hans Bausch, the founders of the company, recognized early on the need to develop a pressure-sensitive articulating paper in order to visualize the occlusion as precisely as possible. Since 1953, Dr. Jean Bausch GmbH & Co. KG has specialized in the manufacture of articulating papers with high colour transfer. The tried and tested product BK 01 was the first articulating paper to depict different chewing shapes using different shades of color. This principle of progressive color transfer is still an important method for the exact detection of high spots. Precise color transfer to surfaces such as ceramic, acrylic or metal is our top priority. We have developed an extensive range of different articulation and occlusion test materials in various thicknesses, shapes and colors, making us one of the world's leading manufacturers. As a second-generation family business, we will continue to focus on innovation and consistent product development in the future. For example, we presented the new OccluSense® system for digital occlusion control at IDS 2019 in Cologne. All our products are manufactured strictly in accordance with the European Medical Device Regulation under the constant supervision of our quality assurance team in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485.
