From a real-world problem to a product for real-world use. H+H SYSTEM, founded in 1973 by pharmacists Horst and Heimo Hrovat Sr., is now a global company headquartered in Strobl on Lake Wolfgang. The idea to develop and patent their own system was sparked by dissatisfaction with existing medication organization and storage systems. It has since evolved into a comprehensive and flexible compartmentalization system that is exported to over 60 countries. The family-owned business is now led by the second generation, Heimo Hrovat Jr., and continues to grow steadily. Today, H+H SYSTEM’s flexible sliding dividers can be found in hospitals, laboratories, nursing homes, and pharmacies—anywhere medications and small items need to be organized hygienically and clearly. The products are developed and manufactured at the headquarters in Strobl on Lake Wolfgang and at a second location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
